Designed to spark curiosity, build confidence and nurture character, this personal development journey helps our pupils discover who they are and who they can become. Rooted in our core values of grit, aspiration, communication, respect, creativity and critical thinking, Adventure Awaits encourages children to step outside their comfort zones, aim high and believe in themselves.
Through an enriching programme of school trips, workshops and learning experiences, carefully curated by the teaching team, our pupils are provided with opportunities to lead, explore, reflect and flourish, not just academically, but socially and emotionally too. They learn to solve problems, work with others, show resilience and take pride in their achievements.

Adventure Awaits Passports
Adventure Awaits Passports are given to every child at Hatcham Free School, capturing their unique journey through Adventure Awaits. Each time a pupil completes an activity linked to one of our commitments, they earn a stamp as a celebration of effort, achievement and personal growth.
As children move up through the school, their passport moves with them, filling with memories of challenges overcome, performances delivered and experiences enjoyed. By Year 6, each passport becomes a treasured keepsake and a lasting reminder of the confidence built, the adventures taken and the wonderful moments that have shaped their time at Hatcham Free School.
